Review startup applications on a device
You can review and manage applications that run automatically when the device starts. Viewing startup applications helps you troubleshoot performance issues directly from the N-central interface. The amount of information available depends on the version of Windows.
The Startup Applications feature in the Direct Support interface lets you enable or disable individual or multiple applications.
This feature is only available for managed Windows devices with N-able N-central agents installed.
To manage startup applications
- Go to Views > All Devices and select the Network Devices tab.
- Select the device Name.
- Go to Tools > Startup Applications.
- In the User drop-down menu, select a user account. To manage all accounts on the device, select All Users.

To change the state of an application, click the On/Off toggle in the Status column.

To enable or disable multiple applications:

Select the check box next to each item.

Select Enable or Disable at the top of the window.
